SYNOPSIS: Six university students goes into a very secluded and remote village to complete their practical training with the locals. The practical training is known as Kerja Kuliah Nyata (KKN) and the village is known as Desa Penari.

Desa Penari is located so far into the woods and the students has to ride on motorbikes to get to the village. The village has no electricity and the villages uses river for everything - drinking, bathing and other activities too.

Along the ride, Widya hears a gamelan song and asks Pak Prabu, the village head about it. He dismisses Widya's question and brings the kids into their respective accommodation. The girls stay with Mbak Sudarni while the boys stay at a home nearby, while waiting for their hostel to complete and ready to stay in.

During the village walkabout, Nur falls sick and Bima volunteers to bring her home. Pak Prabu shares about Desa Penari and reminds the students that there are some geographical boundaries that are not meant to be breached by anyone.

One day, Ayu sees that Bima comes out from the wood behind the boundary but she thinks nothing about it.

Meanwhile, Nur and Widya hears and sees a supernatural figure while they are in the bath house.

When the disturbances getting stronger, Pak Prabu brings the kids to see Mbah Buyut, the local shaman. Mbah Buyut confirms that the spirits in the village likes Widya and that's why they keep on seeing entities around them and disturbances.

Meanwhile, Mbah Buyut says that Nur has a protective entity beside her that is looking out for her, and the spirits do not like the presence.

Bima's attitude changes to being rude to his friends.
