Badan Pengelola Tabungan Perumahan Rakyat (BP Tapera) is a public legal entity in Indonesia which was formed to manage Public Housing Savings. BP Tapera is responsible for the Tapera Committee which consists of the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing, the Minister of Finance, the Commissioner of the Financial Services Authority, as well as professional elements who understand housing and settlements.

TAPERA was formed based on Law no. 4 of 2016 concerning Public Housing Savings aims to collect and provide sustainable, long-term low-cost funds for housing financing in order to meet the needs of decent and affordable housing for participants through integrated planning, programs and overall implementation of activities.

BP Tapera replaces the duties, authority and functions of the Civil Servant Housing Savings Advisory Board (BAPERTARUM) which is a non-ministerial government institution specifically to provide Housing Savings assistance for Civil Servants which was officially liquidated and disbanded on March 24 2018 or exactly 2 years after the law was passed. .
