The Coat of Arms of Malaysia or better known as the National Coat of Arms (Jawi Writing: جات نڬارا) has the meaning, characteristics, and values of a country). The country that uses the national coat of arms has combined the characteristics that a country has. Elements and sentiments such as hibiscus that are applied in the coat of arms of Malaysia show that this flower is the national flower that is used in official ceremonies and the symbol of a country.
Meaning (fourteen broken stars signify the 13 states included in the Federation of Malaysia) namely Johor Darul Takzim, Kedah Darul Aman, Kelantan Darul Naim, Melaka Historic City, Negeri Sembilan Darul Khusus, Pahang Darul Makmur, Perak Darul Ridzuan, Perlis Indera Kayangan, Penang Pulau Mutiara, Sabah Negeri Di Bawah Bayu, Sarawak Bumi Kenyalang, Selangor Darul Ehsan and Terengganu Darul Iman and including Federal Government areas such as Kuala Lumpur, Labuan, and Putrajaya). Meanwhile (the star together with the moon means that Islam is the official religion in Malaysia). (The five keris blades in the middle of the coat of arms denote the former Non-Unionized Malay States (Johor, Kedah, Perlis, Kelantan and Terengganu).
The left side of the coat of arms is (the Pinang tree) which signifies the State of Penang and the right side is the melaka tree which signifies the State of Malacca. Both of these states were part of the former Straits Settlements. In four bands of equal size in the middle which contains the colors red, black, white, yellow, black and white colors. Black and white are the colors of the state of Pahang; red and yellow are the colors for the state of Selangor; black, white and yellow are the colors of the state of Perak; red, black and yellow are the colors of Negeri Sembilan. These four states are the original Federated Malay States.
The three parts on the lower left side are the state of Sabah while the lower right side is the state of Sarawak. In the middle is the Hyacinth Flower which is also known as the National Flower of Malaysia. The two tigers on the left and right sides of the coat of arms are the official animals of Malaysia, the Malayan Tigers, and are the official animals of the former Federated Malay States and are used in the Coat of Arms of Malaysia. The tiger is also a symbol of courage. The slogan "Bersekutu Bertambah Mutu" on the left side is written in Rumi script while on the right side it is written using Jawi script. The yellow color on the clouds symbolizes the Royal color of Their Majesties the Kings of Malaysia.
