Silat Seni Gayong Malaysia was founded by Mahaguru Dato' Meor Abdul Rahman bin Uda Mohd Hashim. Silat Gayong was introduced for the first time in Taiping, Perak. He has revealed the knowledge of inheritance and it is a trust received from the late Dato' Laksamana Hang Tuah among his closest friends. Among his close friends are Wan Noh bin Haji Ismail, Wan Man bin Haji Ismail, Bakar and Aziz Khan.
